Evans Harvill is of Counsel with the firm. He associated with the firm in 1997. His distinguished legal career includes over 60 years of practice. He received his law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1949.

Harvill served as a Special Justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court. He has served the Tennessee Bar Association as President and as a member of the Board of Governors.

A native of Lascassas, Tennessee, he has spent most of his life in Clarksville.

A fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Lawyers, Harvill was a member of the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association from 1980 to 1988. He also served on the ABA founding committee on Ethics and Personal Responsibility.

Evans is a past member and Chair of the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court o f Tennessee, Member of the Supreme Court Commission on Gender Fairness, and the Tennessee Medical Malpractice Review Board.

His practice is concentrated in Probate, Trust & Estates, Wills, Real Property & Commercial Litigation.
